Bath Time

So the other night I am giving the girls a bath which Kiya and Adria can play very well in the tub together and YES I walked away to go get some towels since there wasn't any in their bathroom.

I hear "Gargle Gargle Gargle"

It's Adria Gargling water...

I then hear "Gargle Gargle COUGH COUGH COUGH"

I run in... It's Kiya choking on water from trying to gargle water

I run to go get the shampoo out of my bathroom since the last time they took a bath in mine!

I hear "Gargle Gargle Gargle"

I say "ADRIA... I said STOP"

"Gargle Gargle Gargle"

At the same time I hear "gargle gargle gargle"  Adria says "Mom...It's NOT me"

Kiya has mastered Gargling water HAHAHA

Kiya's Terrible Two Adventure 1

Last Tuesday March 23rd Kiya decided that running in gma's house would be fun!!! I am guessing she slipped on the rug that was in front of my gma's wood stove (that's metal) and ran right in to the sharp corner. She had to get 5 stitches above her right eyebrow and was such a great and brave 2 yrd old the whole time. Not crying during any of the stitches until the nurse accidentally pinched her with the forcepts (or whatever they are called lol)  So all was well she'd did great they said take the stitches out in 5 days. My mom is a tech at the hospital and they told her that since she does the c-section ones all the time just to go ahead and do Kiya's. So yesterday she came over and took them out ( it had been 6 days of the stitches being in now) I guess we just did too much and played to hard!!! Lol Kevin talked us into going to his softball practice. A little girl fell on Kiya while she was sliding down the slide and it busted kiya's scab wide open. Looked like we might have to do stitches again! I took her to mom's house and she steri stripped it which is really strong tape that they use on some cuts at the hospital. LOL I didnt get but 3 miles down the road and looked back... Kiya had TORE off the steri Stripping!!! Thank god mom gave me some just incase something like that happened. So once we got home we steri stripped it AGAIN... and put a band aid on it. This morning... Little MISS Thing... Decided she didnt need it and before she got out of bed while laying there she tore off the band aid and the steri stripping!!!! I can't win with this kid!!! It looks pretty closed up.. so for now I'm going to keep nothing on it... I fear if I put something on it and she tears it off that it might open up the wound again!  So... I just needed to vent... and post this as I'm going to want to remember this later when I write it in her baby book!!!!
Thanks all for reading! I will post again soon!

Kiya's 2nd Birthday!!!

Time flies... And I know we hear that ALL the time but it really does. Seems like it was only a year ago that I had Adria and she's 5 now!!! Doesn't seem like it's been 2yrs since I had Kiya either!!! But apparently she is 2 now!! :P  We had a family birthday party at my Mother-In-Law's house. It was also Grace's party she turned 3 (Kevin little sister). They ordered a big blow up jump Castle!! The girls had a BLAST!!!!!! Hot dogs and hamburgers YUMMY!!! We were all worn out by 5pm! Kiya got some great presents and a lot of outside toys for the summer!! I think we are going to try and get a sandbox for the girls this year for them to play in. So all in all we had a great weekend!!!

I carry your heart with me

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)

i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

This is one of my favorite poems. I wanted to share it with everyone before I posted an actual "FIRST BLOG" of the Harrison Family. This is just something that has always touched me everytime I read this or hear it. I always reflect back on this poem especially when I think about my husband and children. I carry your heart with me. I carry it in my heart. I hope you enjoy my blogs. Thanks Everyone!
